I want to personally invite you to something that is special and brand new for us at Henley Leadership Group.
On May 7, 2026, we will host our first Henley Live: A Business Leadership Conference in Seattle. The big idea is to reset, connect leaders at every level in meaningful ways and genuinely reimagine how we might lead and support our teams through these challenging times.
Why This Conference Now?
This conference is intended to address two trends we are seeing with our clients:
Consistent reports of stress, burnout, loss of connection to purpose and to one another, change fatigue, and reduced resilience;
Our commitment to building leadership communities to offset isolation and support the desire for human connection with other leaders.
The focus on new technologies, including AI, has raised questions about human interaction at work. What we are actually seeing is not a decrease in the need for connection, but an increase. This has led us to reexamine our own work and expand it to include group or peer-led coaching, community calls, learning cohorts, live webinar engagement, and professional learning community events like this one across sectors.
Human connection in a thoughtful learning environment can be an antidote to isolation, uncertainty, and overwhelm. Henley Live is a direct response to this moment.
Is Henley Live for You?
If you are an HR professional, director, people manager, or an emerging leader who wants to better understand what you are facing and learn from other leaders and us in a purposeful way, yes, it is for you. Or if you just want a great restorative learning day, then yes, it is for you too.
My hope is that you leave feeling supported and energized by being with other leaders, and that you gain a new perspective by stepping away from your day-to-day responsibilities long enough to “get up on the balcony”.
Our experienced team of certified executive coaches will be on hand all day, presenting, facilitating, and offering practical tools to navigate the current climate. They have collectively worked with thousands of leaders across dozens of industries over the past 25 years.
You will meet, connect, and learn from other leaders across industries, sharing experience and insight from your work and lives. It is an opportunity to build new connections with people facing similar challenges and to lay the foundation for a potent emerging community, if that calls to you.
Many leaders are asking what it takes to lead today.
Is it resilience? Adaptability? Something else entirely? Instead of offering quick fixes, we want to create space for thoughtful questions, honest conversations, and the sharing of widely different perspectives.
If you are asking these questions, love learning, or want to have a day with really great people, I hope you will join us at Henley Live in Seattle on May 7.
Questions Leaders Are Asking Right Now
What does it truly take to lead well right now?
How am I and my team holding up under the pace and pressure of our workplace … really?
What could I learn from spending time with leaders in other organizations who might be facing similar challenges?
What questions about my leadership or my team have I not had or taken the time or had the mental space to explore?
We’ll explore these and many more during our time together on May 7.
