Penny is an executive and leadership coach, and a human development practitioner. Penny brings presence and power to all her interactions and is able to quickly connect with others. At her core, Penny believes that when her clients maximize their skills and strengths, they can reach their full potential. She orients her coaching from this perspective with a focus on outcomes that might be possible for every client.

Included in this toolbox is over 15 years of direct management experience, an MBA, diverse industry experience – tech, healthcare, non-profit, start up, education, - expertise in adult development theory, a doctoral degree in leadership and over 2500 hours of direct coaching experience. When working with clients, she starts with developing self-awareness, team awareness and then moves toward systems awareness for leaders.
As a coach and consultant, she facilitates learning in individuals, small groups, and larger teams. She applies her knowledge of leadership development, applied behavioral science, neuroscience, mindfulness, somatic awareness, social justice, and adult development theory to bring practical and high-impact tools and strategies to individuals and organizations. Penny is known for getting results quickly and sustainably by bringing practical, relevant learning that can be implemented right away
As Director of Client Engagement for HLG, Penny ensures that all clients receive the best development experience possible. She works closely with every coach and consultant on the project to bring clarity and alignment around project deliverables. She maintains open lines of communication with key stakeholders, sharing important updates, key themes that are emerging, and progress around each project deliverable.
Penny lives with her husband, Ken, and sons, Henry and Charlie, in Seattle, Washington. In her spare time you can find her digging in the dirt in her back yard, skiing and exploring the West, cooking for crowds or screaming loudly on roller coasters across the United States.

Her super power is as an integrative thinker, collating disparate ideas into a larger holistic construct. She has studied and taught business, adult learning, and organizational leadership.
