As Learning and Development Manager for HLG, Carrie partners with HLG’s coach and facilitation team, as well as with clients, so that we can deliver on our commitment of transformation and growth and create workplaces where all people thrive.
In a previous job, Carrie got a crash course in organizational change and a new understanding of the human impact of organizational volatility. This, paired with previous experience in the nonprofit and public sectors, opened Carrie’s eyes to the notion that workplaces and systems vary greatly, and spurred new energy toward creating environments that cultivate the best in people. This was the start to Carrie’s calling to support people achieve big things by bringing their true selves to their workplaces and fostering environments where people feel seen and heard.
Carrie is a connector who enjoys helping people discover commonality and build relationships. She values compassion for self and others and strives to do her part to make work a place of care, connection, joy and fun. Carrie earned her Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University in 2020.
Carrie once trekked through the Chilean Atacama Desert, the driest in the world, and fell in love with its beauty and tranquility.
